THE MONEY MINUTE
Luke 14:28-20 says,
“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’”
This is one of the most direct quotes about the importance of handling money in the Kingdom. You have to count the cost! For example, if your light bill is due tomorrow and car note is due next week, maybe you should not be going out with your friends tonight or going out to eat. We’ve all made this mistake, myself included. But we must do a better job of counting the cost. However, this requires great effort. It will not happen by itself. It is deliberate and intentional. Let’s do a better job of knowing where our money is going instead of wondering where it went.

What I want the most is for this to not be about me. But rather the focus be placed on Jesus Christ; the author and finisher of our faith. I am just a vessel willing to be used by him and for him.
Yes. Counting the cost. When we follow the plans and the instruction of the word that Jehovah will not disappoint us and our cost will be greater than our loss.
