THE CALL TO BE A LIGHT
Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
The call on our lives is not the pursuit of happiness. It’s not success. It’s not fame or fortune.
Instead the call on our lives is to be a witness. A light. A beacon of hope to a sinful and dying world. But not so that we can get the glory for helping them, but so that God can.
Everything we do in this life should be for the glory of God. The good works we perform are the evidence of God’s mercy and grace. Be encouraged and never afraid to let your light shine.

What I want the most is for this to not be about me. But rather the focus be placed on Jesus Christ; the author and finisher of our faith. I am just a vessel willing to be used by him and for him.
